
PAWTUCKET, R.I.—Eighteen UMass Boston student-athletes earned spots on the Little East Conference Fall All-Academic Team, the league office announced late in 2017.
Athletes from five different fall teams were honored by the LEC. To be recognized, student-athletes had to have at least sophomore standing, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and be in at least their second year at UMass Boston.
Women's soccer led the way with six overall honorees, with women's tennis (five) and volleyball (four) sitting second and third. Three athletes from the men's and women's cross country teams were also recognized.
