3rd Year

Alma Mater:
Suffolk University

Kevin Kelley is entering his third year at UMass Boston and will serve as an infield coach. He reunites with Eygabroat, who he played under while Coach Eygabroat was an assistant at Suffolk University.

Kelley comes to UMass Boston after holding a number of coaching positions in and around the city of Boston. For the past four years, Kelley has been a coach in the Boston Junior Rams AAU program. He also works as a baseball coordinator at the All Dorchester Sports League (ADSL) and was the Head Coach of the 16-18 year old Senior Babe Ruth team.

Before his coaching days, Kelley was a four year standout at second base for Suffolk. During his time there, the team won two Great Northeast Athletic Conference titles, one Eastern Athletic Conference crown, and qualified for the NCAA tournament twice. While defense was his calling card, the former Rams' Captain finished his career with a .305 batting average.

Prior to graduating from Suffolk in 2005 with a degree in criminal justice, the Erving, MA native was a two sport athlete at Turners Falls high school, where he played both basketball and baseball.
