On March 14, belted two HR's to drive in a career-best five RBI including a walk-off gram slam to help the Beacons post an 11-8 win over Dennison ... From April 8-25, posted an 11-game hitting streak while batting a blistering .558 (24-43) from the plate to go along with 11 runs scored over the stretch ... Registered 21 multi-hit efforts including three consecutive three-hit efforts from April 10-13 ... On May 19, notched a season-high four hit outing in UMass Boston's first-ever NCAA tournament game vs. Wheaton (MA), a 12-3 win ... Ranked fourth on the team with 19 extra-base hits, fourth in walks with 22 and tied for fourth with a career-best seven homeruns ... From April 25 through May 2, scored at least one run in seven consecutive games ... Posted new career-highs with 40 runs scored, a .546 slugging percentage as well as a .447 on-base percentage ... Registered one of the greatest defensive seasons in UMB annals, posting a .982 fielding percentage on 390 total chances while setting the new school standard with 353 putouts.
2009: Turned in an excellent year as a full-time player, starting 36 of 40 games, while hitting .318 (41-129) ... Ranked second on the team with 15 doubles, which placed ninth among Little East Conference leaders and ranks as the third-highest total in school history ... Owned a .512 slugging percentage to stand third on the squad, while putting together a robust .390 on-base average ... Knocked in 31 runs for the 10th-most in school annals ... Hit .340 (18-53) with runners in scoring position and crushed left-handed pitching with a .353 (12-34) mark ... Struck out just once every 10.43 plate appearances to lead all hitters for UMass Boston with more than 50 plate appearances ... Went 28 plate appearances without a strikeout from March 16-24 ... Ranked second in the league with 292 putouts, the second most in school history ... Put together an eight-game hitting streak where he hit .419 (13-31) from March 18-28 ... Finished a homer short of the cycle, going 5-5 with a double and a triple in addition to three RBIs and three runs scored vs. Fontbonne University on March 20 ... Went 4-5 with a pair of doubles and four runs batted in vs. University of Southern Maine on April 10.
2008: Saw time in 30 games, starting half of them, despite missing time with a hamstring injury ... Batted .206 (13-63) and led the team with five home runs, which also placed him 14th in the Little East Conference ... Ranked second on the team with a .460 slugging percentage ... Batted .375 (3-8) vs. left-handed pitching and hit .333 (7-21) with runners in scoring position, including 2-3 with the bases loaded ... Helped the Beacons to an 8-6 win at Johnson & Wales University with a pinch-hit grand slam on March 26 ... Knocked in three or more runs on three occasions, including a 2-4 effort with a homer vs. Concordia University on March 15.
