BASEBALL POSTPONED VS. FRAMINGHAM STATE

BOSTON, MA - The University of Massachusetts Boston baseball game scheduled for 6:30 p.m. this evening vs. Framingham State University has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Yetten Field, the Beacons home site in Waltham, MA.

No make-up date has been announced at this time.

The Beacons are currently 6-10 on the season, 1-1 in the Little East Conference and will return to action tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6 when they travel to Springfield, MA to take on Western New England College at 3:30 p.m. In the most recent D-III New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association coaches poll, WNEC was ranked second with 35 points. The two squads faced off last year in the NCAA D-III New England Regional tournament with the Beacons coming away with the 6-4 win on May 20, 2010.
