CENTERVILLE, Mass. – For the first time in his collegiate career senior Isaac Jenkins (Pordenone, Italy) has been named the ECAC Division III New England Player of the Week, for his standout play in which he averaged 32.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.
In the Beacons 1-1 week, which included a 100-98 overtime win over Suffolk University, Jenkins recorded a career-best 39 points and shot 50% from the field (21-for-42). In Saturday's loss to Western Connecticut State University, the senior guard recorded the only double-double as he combined for 26 points and 14 rebounds. From 3-point range, Jenkins was 5-of-13 and at the free throw line he was 18-for-23.
Joining Jenkins as the Co-Player of the Week was Shasha Brown from Wesleyan University.
