MEN'S ICE HOCKEY FALLS AT BABSON IN ECAC EAST QUARTERFINALS, 4-22/27/10 BABSON PARK, MA - The second-seeded Babson College men's ice hockey team took a 2-0 lead after one period and held on to defeat seventh-seeded University of Massachusetts Boston, 4-2, in the quarterfinal round of the 2010 ECAC East Tournament at the Babson Skating Center on Saturday night. With the victory, the Beavers (13-11-2) advance to next Friday's semifinal round, which will be held at Norwich University. Meanwhile, the Beacons see their season come to a close with an overall record of 10-13-2. (MORE)
