The senior from Havertown, Pa. stopped eight Corsair attempts in the third quarter, which allowed the Beacons to break a halftime tie and hold a two-goal advantage heading into the final frame.
Delpha registered a career-high seven points, on four goals and three assists, to help UMass Boston earn its first Little East Conference win of the week, edging intra-state rival UMass Dartmouth. The freshman from Walpole, Mass. netted the game-winner against the Corsairs on a man-up opportunity with 11 minutes remaining in regulation. Earlier in the week, he scored a marker at Babson.
