Dillon Earns Little East Defensive Player of the Week Accolades

PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Despite an 0-2 week for Beacons lacrosse, senior defenseman Jack Dillon (Barrington, R.I.) was honored for his standout play, as he was named the Little East Defensive Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

The senior long pole collected a total of 16 ground balls and finished with a total of seven caused turnovers.  HE also registered a pair of shots on goal, and had an assist to help the attack. 

Against Wheaton College (MA) Dillon registered his lone point of the week, and had an impressive nine ground balls to go along with four caused turnovers.  In the Beacons conference opener at Southern Maine, the Rhode Island native registered three caused turnovers and collected seven ground balls.
