Men's and Women's Tennis Give Back To Boston Community

BOSTON, Mass.—The UMass Boston men's and women's tennis teams finished off their school year by giving back May 18, when they volunteered at Horizons For Homeless Children's "Route For Kids" 5K Run.

Members of both squads lined up throughout the course helping at cooling and rest stations and working to make the event run smoothly.

Horizons for Homeless Children focuses on providing assistance to homeless children and their families by preparing children for success in school.

UMass Boston Athletics takes pride in working with the local community.  Every team participates in a variety of events throughout the year, which has earned UMB local and national attention for their efforts and dedication.
