MEN'S TENNIS DEFEATED BY SOUTHERN MAINE, 7-2, IN SEASON FINALE5/2/10 BOSTON, MA - The University of Southern Maine men's tennis team defeated host University of Massachusetts Boston, 7-2, today in the Little East Conference regular season finale played at the Boston College High School courts in Boston, MA. The Huskies improve to 5-8 overall and 2-4 in LEC play, while the Beacons fall to 1-14 and 0-6. Southern Maine will be in action again on Tuesday, May 4 when it travels to Providence, RI to take on Rhode Island College at 3:00 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the Little East Conference Tournament.
