MARSHFIELD, Mass. – After two game winning goals to help the Beacons secure the second-seed in the conference tournament, senior forward Jane Morrisette (Pembroke, Mass.) has been named the New England Hockey Conference Player of the Week.
Morrisette started the weekend off with an assist on the than game-tying goal against the University of Southern Maine on Friday. The senior from Pembroke, then scored the game-winning goal on the play of the year. Despite being on the penalty kill, Morrisette broke the puck up and beat two Huskie defensemen.
