Morrisette Earns NEHC Co-Player of the Week Honors

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – After a two-goal performance in the season opening win over Stevenson University, senior forward Jane Morrisette (Pembroke, Mass.) has been named the New England Hockey Conference Co-Player of the Week.

On Friday, Morrisette registered two of the Beacons three goals in the opening period.  Her first tally came on the power-play just six minutes 30 seconds into the affair.  She then gave UMB a comfortable three score lead around the midway point of the first, as she scored an unassisted goal.

To date, the Pembroke native sits with 43 career points, and had combined for 26 goals and 17 assists in 74 career games played.  She also has seven career game-winners and power-play scores.
