Lindsay Berman Joins Women's Ice Hockey Coaching Staff

BOSTON, Mass. – University of Massachusetts Boston head women’s ice hockey coach Colleen Harris has announced that Lindsay Berman will be joining the Beacons coaching staff for the 2011-12 season.

Berman, who was a four year member of the Northeastern University women’s ice hockey program, had a distinguished career with the Huskies, as she appeared in a combined 135 games.  During that time she was named the 2008 recipient of the “Unsung Hero” award and was invited to the 2008 USA Hockey under-22 training camp. 

While attending Northeastern, Berman also played for the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) and served as the assistant coach of the under-19 Junior Women’s Hockey League (JWHL) Boston Shamrocks.  Berman graduated from Northeaster in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

A native of Odenton, Maryland, Berman played for the Washington Pride under head coach Kush Sidhu.
