Women's Soccer Suffers 3-0 Setback at Babson

BABSON PARK, Mass. – With a pair of goals and an assist from Kathryn Clark Babson College handed women's soccer a 3-0 non-conference loss Wednesday afternoon at Hartwell-Rogers Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Beavers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead thanks to Clark, who registered four of her five points in just over a six-minute span.  She would then assist on the clinching goal in the first five minutes of the second half, with Katherine Cullen scoring on a deflected shot that beat Beacons goalkeeper Gigi Braga (Medford, Mass.).

Braga took over in goal for the Beacons after starter Maranda Caruso (Kingston, Mass.) left the game in the 18th minute.  Caruso was handed the loss, while Braga registered nine saves in her collegiate debut as the Beacons goalkeeper

Jaclyn O'Grady (Somers, Conn.) led the Beacons offense with three shots on goal, while the Beavers combined for 21 shots in the non-conference meeting.
