With 1:53 remaining in the first half, Mulry erased a 1-0 deficit with her second goal of the season on a penalty kick. The junior would net the eventual game-winner at the 53:07 mark when she dribbled through the Huskies defensive line and deeked junior goalkeeper Kat Rothe (Leeds, ME) with a low finish to put UMass Boston ahead for good, 2-1.

The Huskies struck first on sophomore forwards Cathy Wise's (Cape Elizabeth, ME) third goal of the season just 13:29 into the match. Wise received a through ball pass from senior defender Samantha Peters (Westbrook, ME) and scored with a low shot to the far post, beating freshman keeper Katie Coscia (Pittsfield, MA) to put Southern Maine up, 1-0.

Andrews got into the scoring mix late in the second half netting her sixth and seventh goals of the season on unassisted tallies. With 14:21 remaining in the match, the freshman put the Beacons on top 3-1 with a right-footed strike from the top of the 18-yard box. The rookie put home her second goal on the afternoon 80:51 into the contest after she dribbled through her way past the Southern Maine backs for a low near-post finish. This was Andrews' third multi-goal game on the campaign and her seven goals rank sixth all-time for scores in a season.

Coscia finished the game with four saves for UMass Boston while Rothe picked up 10 saves in net for the Huskies.
