The Beacons and Owls were halted in game one of a doubleheader due to rain

KEENE, NH - Today's Little East Conference softball doubleheader between University of Massachusetts Boston and Keene State College has been suspended after three innings of play in Keene, NH due to rain and unfavorable playing conditions. The first game was halted with the Owls owning a 6-2 advantage and will be continued at the point of the stoppage at a date to be determined.

The Beacons' two runs came on a two-run home run off the bat of senior third baseman Lauren O'Connor (Everett, MA) in the top of the third inning.

UMass Boston will be in action again on Saturday, April 25 when it hosts Plymouth State University in a Little East Conference doubleheader to be played at 1:00 p.m. at the Clark Athletic Center field.
