NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – After her breakout junior season, Hieu Nguyen (Dorchester, Mass.) earned for the first time in her career, First Team All-Conference Honors at fifth singles as announced by the Little East Conference office.
PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The third seeded Panthers of Plymouth State University (10-4) recorded two wins in doubles play and three wins in singles play to defeat sixth seeded women's tennis (6-9) Tuesday afternoon in the quarterfinal round of the Little East Conference tournament at Plymouth State's P.E. Center Courts.
BOSTON, Mass. – After two year hiatus, the University of Massachusetts Boston women’s tennis team will begin their quest for a Little East Conference title tomorrow afternoon, when they travel to Plymouth State University in the first round of this year’s tournament. The Beacons, who are currently the sixth seed, will face the third seeded Panthers tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Unfortunately the host Panthers earned the victory as they defeated women’s tennis (6-8, 3-5 LEC) by the final of 8-1 Saturday afternoon at P.E. Center Courts.
SALEM, Mass. – Less than 24 hours after their hard fought win over Worcester State University, women’s tennis had to travel to Salem to take on the top-ranked team in the Little East Conference, the Vikings of Salem State (10-1, 7-0 LEC). The host Vikings defeated the Beacons (6-7, 3-4 LEC) by the final score of 8-1 Wednesday afternoon at Central Campus tennis courts.
BOSTON, Mass. – Led by Anitra Kloczewiak (Newton, MA), record setting doubles victory women’s tennis (6-6, 3-3 LEC) cruised to a 7-2 Little East Conference win over Worcester State University (3-8, 0-6 LEC) Tuesday afternoon on the Boston College High School Courts. With the win, the Beacons have secured a place in the 2011 conference tournament.
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Looking to pick-up a huge conference win, women’s tennis (5-6, 2-3 LEC) faced off against the Bears of Bridgewater State University (8-1, 5-0 LEC), unfortunately the Bears remained perfect in Little East Conference play as they defeated the Beacons by the final score of 8-1 Friday afternoon at Rosen Memorial Tennis Courts.
BOSTON, Mass. – Led by Anitra Kloczewiak (Newton, MA), who tied the program record for most career doubles victories, women’s tennis (5-5) defeated non-conference opponent Wentworth Institute of Technology (3-6) by the final score of 6-3 Thursday afternoon at the Boston College High School Tennis Courts.
