WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE, 9-0

PROVIDENCE, RI - The University of Massachusetts Boston women's tennis team was defeated by host Rhode Island College, 9-0, today in a Little East Conference match played in Providence, RI. The Beacons fall to 2-4 overall and 0-4 in LEC play, while the Anchorwomen improve to 6-4 and 4-1.
UMass Boston will be in action again on Thursday, October 2 when it hosts Pine Manor College at 3:30 p.m. at the Boston College High School courts, while Rhode Island College travels to Plymouth, NH to take on Plymouth State University on October 3 at 3:30 p.m.
