Caleb Evanter joins the UMass Boston coaching staff and will work with the Beacon's distance runners.
Evanter has previously coached Track and Field at Clark University and Cross Country at Marblehead High School. He is a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach. As an athlete he has competed in events ranging from the 800m to the 10K. He was the top runner for the Clark Cougars in every Cross Country race during his final two years of studies. In 2009 in qualified for the NCAA DIII New-England Track and Field Championships in the 10K. He currently trains with the Greater Boston Track Club and has competed in USATF Club Nationals in both Track and Cross Country.
A native of Marblehead, MA, Evanter graduated Summa Cum Laude with High Honors in Spanish from Clark University and later graduated with a Masters of Business Administration, also from Clark University. He was awarded the Senior Scholar Athlete Award for being the 4 year athlete with the highest GPA. He looks forward to bringing his passion for running and coaching to UMass Boston.
