PAWTUCKET, R.I. – For the fifth time this season, senior libero Elizabeth Glavan (Edina, Minn.) has been named the Little East Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office.
Last week, the three-time LEC Defensive Player of the Week, led the Beacons to a pair of wins, including a 3-0 victory over Keene State College. In the victory over the Owls, Glavan collected 29 digs, which stands as the program record for most digs in a three-set match. In their first match of the week, Glavan collected 17 digs in the 3-0 win over Roger Williams University. The Minnesota native averaged 7.67 digs per set and also had three aces.
