Maintained a .213 hitting percentage to rank second on the squad and rank fifth in school history for a season ... Solid defensively, as well, with 183 digs to rank third on the team for an average of 1.79 per game ... Smashed 10 or more kills on 19 occasions and established a career-high of 29, including 12 in the fourth game of a 3-2 win over Rhode Island College on October 27 ... Showcased her hitting proficiency, owning a .300 or better hitting mark in 10 outings on the season, including a scorching .556 percentage with 17 kills and just two errors in 27 attempts in a 3-0 win vs. Eastern Nazarene College on October 13 ... 2006 Turned in an outstanding rookie campaign and was named the Little East Conference Rookie of the Year as well as becoming the first player in school history to be selected to the LEC First Team ... The only player in the conference to be named Little East Conference Rookie of the Week three times ... Led the Beacons with a .250 hitting percentage, 317 kills and 356.5 points, while ranking fifth, seventh and eighth among LEC leaders, respectively ... Saw action in 29 matches and 103 games, while scooping 2.26 digs per game to rank third on the squad and her total of 32 service aces was the fourth-most on the team ... Her 14 total blocks were the third-most for UMass Boston ... Began the season slowly, but after the first eight matches, really picked it up, averaging 3.67 kills per game in a three-match stretch from September 9-14 ... Proved to be extremely consistent, spiking for less than nine kills in a match just twice in the team's final 17 matches ... Her most impressive span of the season came during an eight-match stretch from September 23 to October 6 when she averaged a torrid 4.37 kills per game to go with a .336 hitting mark and 3.0 digs per effort to lead UMB to a 6-2 mark ...
