The most successful volleyball coach in program history, Condon forever left her mark on the harbor campus. In perhaps the most impressive era in all of UMass Boston athletics history, Condon led the Beacons to eight Little East Conference Tournament titles, nine Little East Conference Regular Season championships, three NCAA New England Regional championships, and three appearances in the NCAA Division III Elite Eight. An American Coaches Volleyball Association (AVCA) 2016 Hall of Fame inductee, Condon ended her career as one of the most influential coaches ever in the history collegiate volleyball. During her 12 seasons on the bench, Condon accumulated 258 wins and boasted a 67.2 career winning percentage.
She mentored the program’s first AVCA All-American and went on to coach six All-Americans and eight AVCA All-Region honorees. In 2010, Condon earned AVCA New England Region Coach of the Year honors, after leading the Beacons to their first-ever NCAA Regional title and appearance in the NCAA Elite Eight. In 2012, the Beacons earned their highest national ranking in program history as they started the campaign ranked 16th in the country.
