HOW IT HAPPENED
Jimmy Cannon placed sixth overall in the Men's 1,000 Meter Run with a time of 2:47.25 after seeding with a time of 2:40.00, finishing sixth overall and scoring a point while freshman
Rob Cannon placed ninth in a time of 2:50.79 in the event.
In the Men's One Mile Run,
Jimmy Cannon would place third overall with a time of 4:32.29, a new personal best, to earn six more points for UMass Boston while the final two points would come from the Men's 4x400 Meter Relay team. Freshman Austin Hennebury, junior Christopher Druding, sophomore
Sami Mezrouh, and sophomore Mockar Seck placed fifth overall in a time of 3:52.24 in the event.
