BOSTON, Mass. – On a cold night which featured blistering winds Mitchell College scored 10-runs over the final four innings to down baseball by the final of 10-6 Wednesday evening at Monan Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After holding the Mariners off the scoreboard for the first five innings, Mitchell jumped all over the Beacons bullpen as they tacked on their 10 runs, all earned on 13 hits.
Eric Marriott led the Mariners offense with three hits, two RBI and three runs scored. Steven Pagan was 3-for-4 with four RBI as Mitchell extended their wins-streak to 10 straight games.
For the Beacons Kyle Boudrias (Medford, Mass.) made it 13-straight games with a hit as the senior first baseman went 2-for-5 with two RBI.
Ben Gottesman (Acton, Mass.) went a solid three innings on the hill as the starter. During his outing he did not surrender a hit and have five of the team's 11 strikeouts. Matt Demma (Worcester, Mass.) came on in relief and also did not allow a hit, and had two K's over two innings.
Justin Lukas earned the win for the Mariners after allowing just two runs on one hit, while also striking out five in three innings of work.

The Beacons will host Plymouth State University on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in a Little East Conference doubleheader. Plymouth State will be the home team since the two game were supposed to be played in Plymouth.
