BOSTON, Mass. – The honors continue to roll in for junior outfielder Nick Cotraro (Beverly, Mass.), who earned a spot on the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week. Last week, Cotraro recorded some of his best numbers ever on the harbor campus, to lead the Beacons to a 4-1 week overall.
He registered a .643 average, .688 on-base percentage, and a whopping 1.357 slugging percentage. In 14 at-bats he recorded nine hits, with six runs scored, two doubles, one triple, two home runs (both against Western Connecticut State), one walk and 19 total bases.
The weekly honor along with his Little East Player of the Week accolade are both firsts for the Beverly native. He is now the second Beacon in the last two weeks to earn a spot on the national team of the week, with reliever Bobby Tramondozzi (Peabody, Mass.) earning his first honor.
