Kyle Boudrias Named to College World Series All-Tournament Team

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa—UMass Boston senior designated hitter Kyle Boudrias (Medford, Mass.) was named to the 2019 Division III College World Series All-Tournament Team, the NCAA and D3Baseball.com announced at the conclusion of the five-day tournament.

Boudrias wrapped up his illustrious career with another strong performance. The Beacons three-hole hitter finished the weekend 7-16 with one run scored, five RBI and four doubles in four contests.

He hit safely, and recorded at least one RBI and one extra-base hit in all four contests. Boudrias recorded multiple hits in each of the Beacons' first three games and reached base three times in UMass Boston's 10-6 win over eventual National Champion Chapman University.

Boudrias finished his career as the program-record holder in career at-bats with 736. He also finished second in games played (187) and hits (260) and fourth in doubles (44).

This year's All-Tournament team was structured in a true team format, with a representative chosen from each position, rather than the top nine position players.

Fellow seniors Eddie Riley (Quincy, Mass.), Josh Lopez (New Haven, Conn.) and Fernando Burgos (Hyde Park, Mass.) also put together very strong showings at the College World Series.
