BOSTON, Mass.--Vice Chancellor of Athletics and Recreation, Special Projects and Programs Charlie Titus took a break from his vacation to take part in the "Strike Out ALS Ice Bucket Challenge." After being called out by Keene State College Athletic Director John Ratliff, Titus called out UMass Boston Senior Associate Director of Athletics Terry Condon and Associate Director of Athletics Cheryl Aaron, in addition to Al Holland. Titus also donated to the ALS Association, on top of taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge.
The ALS Association's mission includes providing care services to assist people with ALS and their families through a network of chapters working in communities across the nation and a global research program focused on the discovery of treatments and eventually a cure for the disease. In addition, The Association's public policy efforts empower people to advance public policies in our nation's Capital that respond to the needs of people with ALS.
