Men’s Cross Country Runs At 51st Annual Codfish Bowl

BOSTON, Mass. – Led by senior Cameron Chase (Lutz, Fla.) the men's cross country team posted a 3rd-place finish at the 51st running of the Codfish Bowl Cross Country meet Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park.


3rd out of 3 teams (Total Time: 2:41:03.00 / Average 32:12.60)


Chase's team-leading performance consisted of a final time of 28:03, which stands as his second fastest time of the year.

Finishing in 19th place for the Beacons was Jon Symons (Northborough, Mass.) who posted a time of 30:09.  Prosper Lubega (Watertown, Mass.) earned the Beacons third fastest time, as he tripped the sensor with a final time of 30:38.  Anthony Lynch (Brockton, Mass.) finished in 32nd place with a time of 32:19, while Alejandro Maldonado, Jr. (Dedham, Mass.) crossed the finish line with a time of 39:54.


The Beacons will travel to Westfield State University on October 12 to take part in the James Earley Cross Country Invitational.
