Bradley Tabbed as ECAC East Goaltender of the Week

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - After two standout performances junior goaltender Moe Bradley (Swampscott, Mass.) has been named the ECAC East Goaltender of the Week as announced by the conference office late Monday evening.

The honor is the second of the year for the transfer netminder, who has played a major part in the Beacons seven-game unbeaten streak.

Last week, Bradley held a very tough University of St. Thomas (Minn.) squad to just one goal in the 1-1 non-conference tie.  The Swampscott native would record a total of 50 stops, which is fifth most all-time in a game at UMass Boston, to extend the Beacons unbeaten streak to six straight games.

She would then step between the pipes in Saturday's ECAC East conference game with Saint Anselm College.  After an early power-play goal by UMass, Bradley was sensational for the remainder as she posted 43 saves to lead the Beacons to their first conference win of 2014.

Over the course of her last three starts, Bradley has surrendered just one goal and has posted 123 saves on 124 shots.
