Former Division I standout Julie Morrissey enters her first season with the Beacons coaching staff in 2015.
Morrissey recorded 21 goals and 47 total points across four seasons playing at Division I University of Cincinnatti (three years) and UMass Amherst (one season). Over the course of her three seasons with the Bearcats, Morrissey was twice named the Big East Offensive Player of the Week and was named to the Topdrawersoccer.com National Team during her sophomore season.
As a freshman she became the first Cincinnatti player to lead the team in points since 1993 (16) and she wrapped up her career by being named to the National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA) and New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) All-Region teams in her lone season at UMass.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from UMass Amherst, Morrissey has immersed herself in coaching.
She has moved up the ranks at the Daniel S. Lima Club, working as a coach and camp instructor from 2009-2015 and currently is in her third season as the head coach of the U12 Boys South Shore Select Team. Morrissey has also spent time as an administrative assistant with the Daniel S. Lima Club for the past six years.
